Empowering Inclusivity Through Universal Design: Expert in Accessibility Innovations and Rare Disease Solutions
Universal Design/Accessibility
I help companies connect more effectively with a huge untapped market. Disabled consumers have more than $21 billion in discretionary income to spend every year on goods and services, more than the African American and Hispanic markets combined. I help clients tap into this underrecognized market sector by providing key insights on universal design and marketing strategies. If you’re looking to make your product or service more inclusive or dramatically expand your appeal to a huge population eager to be spoken to, I’m your guy. Let's make the world easier to navigate, one change at a time – and increase your bottom line while we’re at it.
Rare Disease
For several years now, I’ve had a front-row seat to the mix of hope, red tape, and cutting-edge science that fuels the search for new treatments. I’m currently participating in the Capricor Therapeutics Hope-3 study at Boston Children’s Hospital. We are testing a stem cell therapy designed to give Duchenne patients’ hearts and muscles a fighting chance. The goal is to see if these cells can slow the disease down, and I am more than happy to roll up my sleeves and help figure that out. I use my personal experience as a person living with DMD who has participated in medical research to advise sponsors on patient-centric approaches, accessible clinical trial design, and patient advocacy and engagement strategies.
