Who I Am
I’m fueled by a blend of eclectic memoirs, craft coffee, artisanal tea, and local cheese—my essentials for a good life.
You’ll catch me sipping Harney & Sons Organic Supreme Green, brewing No. Six Depot Costa Rica Tarrazu, or indulging in some Four Fat Fowl from the Hudson Valley (if you know, you know). Having traveled to 13 countries, Stockholm is my favorite city — thanks to its food scene, killer fashion, and sleek home design stores. When I’m not scouting out the best coffee shops in NYC for deep convos (let’s connect, seriously), I’m probably diving into memoirs that take on big questions about medical anthropology and disability, like “Places I’ve Taken My Body”, by Molly McCully Brown and “Disability Intimacy”, edited by Alice Wong.
I love watching the Knicks — either live at Madison Square Garden or cozying up by the fire with my rescue pup Roxy. Whether I’m navigating the streets of Manhattan or escaping to my hometown in the Berkshires, I’m always chasing new ideas.
My parents run Charley’s Fund, a nonprofit for my condition, but I’m carving out my own path — still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up, but enjoying the journey.
